Orchid Life Research Centre is located at the heart of UPM-MTDC Technology Centre within the vicinity of University Putra Malaysia (UPM) which is the world's leading research university in New Tropical Agriculture.

At this centre we conduct research and development involving economically important plant species of horticultural and floriculture crops. Our ultimate goals are to generate effective agricultural means for better yield, quality and utilization of sustainable natural flora through the adoption of biotechnology and high-tech molecular processes.
